Do I need to be a good golfer?

Not at all. Our community is open to everyone from absolute beginners to experienced players. While we have some friendly leagues and tournaments, we are not a competitive golf organization. For us, golf us just a medium for building relationships. The meaningful connections and lasting friendships we build are the real prize.

Are events included in membership dues?

While members can use earned Links Credits toward event registration, all events costs are separate and additional to membership dues. Your annual membership is your passport to the Society itself. It secures your ongoing access to society events, our private digital platform, and the member directories (based on tier). Individual events are priced separately, and most are charity fundraisers run by the New Links Foundation, so your registration is doing more than covering a round of golf.

I'm not a business networker. Is this still for me?

Absolutely! Plenty of our members have no business agenda at all. They joined for the golf, the events, and the social aspect of the group. That's exactly what Society membership is for. The professional side is entirely opt-in with our Pro and All-Access memberships.

What are Links Credits?

Accepted Answer

Links Credits are our member rewards program, designed to recognize your active engagement in the Society. You earn Credits through actions that build our community—like referring vetted members, renewing your annual membership, and attending events. You can easily apply your accumulated Credits directly at checkout in the member portal toward exclusive New Links merchandise or event registrations. (Note: Credits have no cash value, cannot be applied toward annual membership dues, and expire immediately upon membership cancellation or non-renewal.)

Can I split a membership with my friend or coworker?

No. Our society is built on repeat interactions amongst members. Individual memberships are strictly personal and cannot be shared, transferred, or rotated among friends or colleagues. If your company wishes to sponsor multiple team members, we offer a Corporate Partnership that allows an organization to hold multiple seats for designated employees as well as promote the company's brand.

Can members bring guests to events?

While some events are reserved exclusively for members, much of our calendar is open to guests of Pro and All-Access members. Guests pay a higher registration rate (except for guests of All-Access members) and are limited to two events per year before needing to apply for their own membership. We just ask that members only invite guests that align with and uphold our Society's culture.

Can members attend events in other Chapter cities?

Yes. Membership is nationwide. Your membership works at every New Links event in every chapter, not just your own. Chapters are how we organize locally, not a limit on where you can play. If members are traveling or just want to check out another city's event, they are welcome to tap into the local network and register for events in any active New Links Chapter.

How do members stay connected between events?

The connecting doesn't stop at the end of a New Links event. Your membership includes access to our private mobile app and member directories (depending on tier). This serves as our digital clubhouse, allowing you to direct-message fellow members, connect with industry peers from your Collective, and facilitate organic introductions year-round.
